EIC Accelerator Success Rate
These are the most up-to-date success rates for the EIC Accelerator based on the latest funding cut-off. The success rate needs to be evaluated carefully since the success chances of a company will always depend on the quality of the business and the suitability towards the EIC Accelerator Grant, Equity, and Blended Finance Program.
Likewise, working with a consultant who has a high success rate does not mean that this success rate can be applied to your company. While the skill of an EIC Accelerator consultant or professional EIC Accelerator grant writer is important, the quality of the business and applicant are equally important.
With good selection, assessment, and due diligence, success rates can be significantly higher.

The selection process was highly competitive, with a multi-stage evaluation: EIC Accelerator Results – February 2025 Update (October 2024 Cutoff)
- Step 2: 431 out of 1211 (36%)
- Step 3: 71 out of 431 (16%)
- Step 2 & Step 3 combined: 71 out of 1211 (5.9%)
The total success rate for the EIC Accelerator (October 3rd 2024 deadline and February 17th 2025 publication) was 6% excluding Step 1. Step 1 results are generally not published and, due to the recent changes in the Step 1 threshold, they are not estimated for this analysis.
March 13th 2024
The selection process was highly competitive, with a multi-stage evaluation: EIC Accelerator March 2024 Results: A Detailed Analysis of Funding Distribution and Success Rates
- Step 2: 969 submissions, 347 (35.6%) passed
- Step 3: 347 interviews, 68 (19.6%) were funded
- Combined Success Rate for Step 2 & 3: 7%
The total success rate for the EIC Accelerator (March 13th 2024 deadline and July 15th 2024 publication) was 7% excluding Step 1. Step 1 results are generally not published and, due to the recent changes in the Step 1 threshold, they are not estimated for this analysis.

The official success rates for the EIC Accelerator based on the November 8th 2023 Cut-Off and February 2024 Release are:
- Step 1: (approximately 70% since results are not published)
- Step 2: 22%
- Step 3: 17%
- Step 2 & Step 3 combined: 3.9%
- Step 1 & Step 2 & Step 3 combined: (approximately 2.7%)
The complete and total EIC Accelerator success rate 2024 can therefore be assumed to be approximately 2.7% based on the latest information by the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA), European Innovation Council (EIC) and European Commission (EC).
